Twenty years ago, Brittany Snow burst onto the Hollywood scene with her breakout role in The Pacifier. Since then, she's become a household name, captivating audiences with her bubbly personality and undeniable charm. But despite her success, the 39-year-old actress is still struggling to feel like she's truly made it in Tinseltown.

In an interview with People, Snow confessed that she often feels uncertain about her next project, constantly wondering if she'll "make it" or not. "I don't think I've made it," she admitted candidly. "It's always a struggle. I'm always wondering what my next job is going to be or if I'm going to 'make it,' in a way. I think that's the same for every actor — unless you're Tom Cruise or something."

Snow's career has been marked by numerous hits, including her iconic role as Chloe Beale in The Pitch Perfect movies alongside Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson. But she's also had her fair share of flops and rejections. "I've been around since people were kids, so they grew up with me as I was growing up," she shared wistfully. "I know with the people who influenced me the most, growing up, and the actresses that I looked up to, I do feel like I know them. And when I meet them, they mean more to me than anything because they showed me what it was like to be a woman."

One of her biggest inspirations is none other than Claire Danes, whom she worked with on The Beast in Me. "Working with Claire was probably one of the most fan-girl encounters that I've had in a long time," Snow gushed. "I grew up with My So-Called Life and Romeo + Juliet. I wanted to be Claire Danes. So, getting to work opposite her and becoming friends with her was such an honor for me."

But despite her many successes, Snow still has a humble approach to her craft. "My idea of success when I was younger was this sort of one-track mind of needing to be Julia Roberts because as a ten-year-old girl, everyone wants to be Julia Roberts," she revealed. "I think as I've gotten older, I've realized that there's so many different forms of success. Success, to me, is the fact that I'm still doing this, and I love it even more now. I remind myself all the time that I didn't give up."

When she's not busy filming her latest project, Snow can be found swiping through dating apps like Raya. After splitting from surfer Tyler Stanaland in 2022, she's been back on the market, and recently dished about one of her most disastrous encounters.

On an episode of the In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele podcast, Snow shared a jaw-dropping story about a "very famous DJ" who fell asleep mid-makeout session. "One of the first dates I'd ever gone on from Raya was this very famous DJ," she began coyly. "I'm not going to name him, but... it's pretty easy to figure out."

According to Snow, the DJ in question was a bit too enthusiastic – or perhaps just too tired. The actress recalled: "We were making out and I was sort of sitting on his couch like this, and kissing him, and then all of a sudden I felt like no kissing back. Like, there wasn't any reciprocation to the kissing and I looked at him and I pulled back and he was just dead asleep."

Snow playfully joked about the situation: "I swear to you, it's not even a joke! He was on his couch, we were making out... and then all of a sudden, no more kissing. I woke him up and I was like, 'Hey, what the f* is going on?'' And he was just really apologetic, saying, 'Oh man, I'm sorry. I'm just so tired.'"

But unfortunately for Snow, this wasn't an isolated incident. The DJ in question apologized profusely but still managed to fall asleep during their next encounter – and the one after that. "I took it personally," Snow admitted with a laugh. "I was like, 'Wow, I must really be just so hot.'"

Despite her questionable taste in men, Snow remains optimistic about her love life and career. With numerous projects in the works, including The Hunting Wives alongside Malin Akerman, she's clearly still got it – and then some.

As a testament to her enduring appeal, Snow was recently spotted at the 2025 MTV VMA awards in New York, looking as radiant as ever. And with her humility, talent, and undeniable charm, it's clear that this blonde bombshell is here to stay.
