Britney Spears Clashes with Kevin Federline: Cocaine Claims and Family Feuds
BRITNEY SPEARS BLASTS EX-HUSBAND KEVIN FEDERLINE: "HE'S LITERALLY ATTACKING ME IN HIS INTERVIEWS!"
The drama between Britney Spears and her ex-husband Kevin Federline is getting juicier by the minute! The Toxic hitmaker, 43, has unleashed a scathing statement on X, blasting Federline's "deep anger" and accusing him of "hating" her. But that's not all - she also took aim at her family, including her mom Lynne Spears, for allegedly profiting off her pain.
Federline, 47, has been making waves with his tell-all memoir, in which he alleges that Britney did cocaine while breastfeeding their two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden. But Britney is fighting back, saying she's had enough of her ex's "gaslighting" and claims he's only doing this to get paid since child support payments have stopped.
A BOMBSHELL ALLEGATION
Federline claimed in his book that he witnessed Britney snorting cocaine at a 2006 party while nursing their children. He wrote, "The first thing I saw was Britney and her young starlet friend snorting a fat line of coke off the table... They didn't even try to hide it." He alleged that he confronted Britney later that evening, telling her to stop breastfeeding the kids and get formula instead.
But Britney is denying these allegations, calling them "completely fabricated" and saying she's been unfairly maligned by Federline. In a lengthy statement on X, she wrote, "Why is HE SO ANGRY? The boy hates me and it is deep anger to literally say the things he is saying."
A HISTORY OF DRAMA
Britney and Kevin's marriage was always drama-prone. They wed in 2004 after just six weeks of dating, but their relationship fell apart two years later when Federline filed for divorce. The couple had two children together, Sean Preston and Jayden, but the relationship was marked by infidelity, substance abuse, and a very public meltdown.
Federline's memoir promises to reveal "extremely intimate and transparent" details about their marriage, including the alleged cocaine incident. But Britney is not afraid of Federline's claims, saying she's already written about her experiences in her 2023 tell-all book, The Woman In Me.
A FAMILY FEUD
But the drama between Britney and Kevin doesn't stop there. She also took aim at her family, including her mom Lynne Spears, for allegedly profiting off her pain. "They get entitled with special secrets as they treat me exactly the way my father used to... yes, they secretly love to cast me out and make me feel completely isolated," she wrote.
Britney even claimed that her family didn't invite her to her son's birthday party last year. "My mother called me one time in 6 years and said, 'Oh you're angry, we just love you so much and wish you were here...'" Britney mimicked her mom's tone. "But then I found out they didn't even invite me to my own child's birthday party!"
A NEW CHAPTER FOR BRITNEY
So what's next for the pop star? She says she's focusing on healing and moving forward, buying a miniature glass greenhouse where she plans to grow lavender and rosemary (no weed, though!). "I'm gonna get real dirty in there with all the dirt, but I don't care... I'm honestly liberated and so damn blessed it arrived!!!"
And as for her upcoming birthday? Britney says she's not interested in celebrating with her family. Instead, she wants to have dinner with Michelle Pfeiffer and Paris Jackson - because who wouldn't want to dine with these two icons?!
As for Federline's memoir, which hits shelves on October 21, it seems like Britney is not too concerned about the book's contents. "I know his book will sell loads more than mine," she wrote, dryly.
