Brandi Glanville's Mysterious Health Journey Takes Center Stage: Top Dermatologists Weigh In

The drama-filled world of reality TV has never been more intriguing, and none more so than the health struggles of Brandi Glanville, a stalwart alumna of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This time around, her mysterious health issues have gone viral, capturing the attention of top dermatologists worldwide. One leading expert, Dr. Nicholas Perricone, has even chimed in with some alarming warnings, insisting that if left untreated, Brandi's condition could worsen significantly.

Brandi's bizarre journey began two years ago when she claimed to have contracted a parasite while vacationing in Morocco. The parasite allegedly caused facial disfigurement, leaving her with what appears to be burn marks and red patches on her face. However, things took an unexpected turn earlier this month when she admitted to using Nair, a hair-removal cream, which left her skin severely burned.

The latest saga of her two-year health battle is that her mysterious condition left her with severe chemical burns after using the hair-removal cream, Nair

Dr. Perricone, renowned for his expertise in anti-inflammatory treatments, spoke exclusively with The Scholarly Note about Brandi's condition while promoting his latest book, The Beauty Molecule: Introducing Neuroceuticals, the Breakthrough for Ageless Beauty. Although he hasn't treated Brandi personally, Dr. Perricone has a keen interest in her case and believes that her symptoms could be indicative of underlying inflammation.

"Many people never get diagnosed, and there's this low-grade inflammation," Dr. Perricone explained. "You don't see it; you can't feel it, but it's very bad, and it could also park itself in the central nervous system, which is not good." The dermatologist emphasized that anything causing inflammation in the body accelerates the aging process, making it essential for Brandi to seek proper treatment.

When asked about a possible diagnosis, Dr. Perricone hinted at the concept of differential diagnosis: "There's something we call a differential diagnosis... But the point is this – anything that's going to create inflammation in the body is bad for us." He suggested that an anti-inflammatory diet and pharmacologic agents could be effective in treating Brandi's condition.

Dr. Perricone's words were laced with concern, but also offered hope: "It's got to be taken care of. You just can't let it go... There's no excuse." The doctor expressed his willingness to help Brandi, stating that he'd reach out to her personally to provide guidance on treating her condition.

Meanwhile, another prominent dermatologist, Dr. Terry Dubrow, who has been assisting Brandi in her recovery, echoed similar sentiments. As the husband of Real Housewives of Orange County's Heather Dubrow and star of E!'s Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, Dr. Dubrow has had extensive experience with complex cases like Brandi's.

Dr. Dubrow biopsied parts of Brandi's face earlier this year and expressed his optimism that the diagnosis will soon be revealed. "I think she's on a path with some real experts right now that may help her," he said, adding that Brandi has an "amazing potential to look like Brandi again."

The RHOBH alum's journey has been marked by numerous doctor visits, unsuccessful treatments, and an astonishing $113K spent trying to remove the lumps on her cheekbone, jaw, and neck. In a recent interview with The Scholarly Note, she revealed that she's taking Ivermectin twice a month to kill the alleged parasite and undergoing colonics treatment three times a week.

Brandi has also been open about her struggles with her appearance, sharing photos of her burned skin on social media. While some have criticized her for seeking attention, others have expressed sympathy and concern for her well-being. The reality TV star has also made light of the situation, joking that she's found an effective DIY solution using aloe vera, cucumber, and black tea.

However, amidst all the drama, Brandi's priorities remain clear: "I am so thankful to my NYC angel [Dr. Michael Scoma] for actually wanting to help me get better," she gushed on X. "Can't wait to live again (fix teeth, put on 10lbs, and make out with a hot boy or girl)."

As Brandi's health saga continues to unfold, one thing is certain: the world will be watching, eager for any update on her condition. Will Dr. Perricone's anti-inflammatory treatment plan work its magic? Or will another expert emerge to offer a solution? Only time will tell, but one thing's for sure – this is a story that's far from over.
