Bethenny Frankel admitted that moving to Florida feels 'different in the right way'

"Bethenny Frankel Spills the Tea on Why She Ditched the Big Apple for Sunshine State!

The Skinny Girl mogul, 54, is trading her New York City apartment for a permanent address in Miami, and it's not just because of the warm weather! In an exclusive interview with TheScholarlyNote.com, Bethenny dished about what prompted her to uproot her life and relocate to Florida - and it's got nothing to do with politics!

Bethenny revealed that she started spending more time at her Miami apartment than expected, and before she knew it, she was feeling like a full-time Floridian. "It started to make me feel like, 'Wait, I really feel like I live there,' even before this whole decision happened," she confessed.

The reality TV personality, 54, also opened up about how her 15-year-old daughter is adjusting to their move from New York City to Miami

As TheScholarlyNote.com reported earlier, Bethenny initially listed her $8 million mansion in Connecticut for sale, citing "personal and professional reasons" for the move. But it turns out that a "series of events" - including the morning of March 19th when everything changed - led to her decision to sell her home and buy a new one in Florida.

"I made the decision to buy that property when I was in a different stage of my life," Bethenny explained. "I thought it would be this, like, big family home and that I'd be entertaining there a lot." But as time went on, she found herself feeling overwhelmed by the massive property and its many responsibilities.

"It was just the two of us," she said, referring to her 15-year-old daughter Bryn. "It was a massive property, and I made the decision to buy that property when I was in a different stage of my life." She admitted that living in the house felt like it was drowning her - alone with no friends or community to speak of.

After two months since their big move, she revealed how it feels now actually living with her daughter in the state where she once went to high school and grew up frequently visiting as a kid; pictured June 2022 in Los Angeles

"I thought simplification would be someone else's complication," she joked. "I'm still going to be in a beautiful home, but I just took on too much."

So what's next for Bethenny and Bryn? The entrepreneur revealed that they're adjusting well to their new life in Florida - and that her daughter is loving the sunshine state! "We are water people," she said. "My sunshine baby loves it here!"

As for Bethenny, she's excited to start this new chapter of her life. "I'm excited for this next chapter," she said. "I think I'll be lighter and brighter and happier in the coming months."

Back in April, she announced that she and her daughter were moving for 'personal and professional reasons' ¿ sparking fan concern that she was relocating for political reasons

And that's not all - Bethenny also opened up about what led her to finally make the move. She confessed that it was a moment of honesty with herself that set everything in motion.

"The moment it became about her, I was able to be honest with myself about how I felt," she said cryptically. "It freed both of us."
