Bethenny Frankel's Fiery Airport Meltdown: Ready to 'Throw Down'!
BETHENNY FRANKEL UNLEASHES HER INNER WILDCHILD AT THE AIRPORT
The Real Housewives of New York City alum, Bethenny Frankel, 53, has never been one to mince words or shy away from drama. And, as evidenced by her latest social media post, she's still got it going on in the controversy department.
In a scorching hot video titled "Airport Drama" shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), Bethenny vented about the frustrations of air travel, and trust us, it's a wild ride. From disgruntled passengers trying to cut ahead in line to aggressive behavior at security checkpoints, Bethenny spares no one - including herself.
The drama queen of the skies began by sharing her favorite part of the airport experience: when people try to muscle their way to the front of the line. "You know what my favorite thing is at the airport?" she sarcastically asked her followers. "When you have to lean down to get something and there's like, a big line, and you are like four inches behind that person, and then a person behind you decides to just plow past you just to get one spot ahead of you."
And, as if on cue, Bethenny recounted an incident where she called out a woman who tried to edge in front of her. "People are hostile at the airport, and once in a while you're like yeah, it's that kinda morning, I'll throw down," she said with a hint of mischief. "I look up at her and I say, 'I will throw down.'"
But Bethenny didn't stop there; nope! She went on to complain about people "body-checking" her while going through security - an experience she described as "surreal." "Yeah, people are a little hostile," she concluded. "Myself included."
As one would expect from the queen of shade, Bethenny's post was met with a flurry of reactions on social media. Fans couldn't get enough of her unfiltered honesty and wit. "These airport stories might need to be a series regular," wrote one fan. "They are absolutely hysterical!"
Others chimed in with their own horror stories about airport etiquette gone wrong. "The best is when they plow down the airplane aisle once you land hoping to get off the plane before you - it's called airplane etiquette, you deboard by row unless the flight attendant specifically requests certain passengers get off bc of tight connections," quipped one commenter.
A third fan theorized that the root cause of all this airport angst is the loss of social norms during the pandemic. "The general public seems to have lost all manners during Covid...and now they don’t know how to politely integrate back into society."
Meanwhile, some fans took a more tongue-in-cheek approach, joking that airports are essentially "one large behavior experiment" where civility and dignity go to die.
But what's even more fascinating is Bethenny's own take on air travel. Earlier this week, she explained to her TikTok followers why she chooses to fly commercial - despite having access to private aircrafts. "Like with everything else, I don't mind spending money, but I never waste money," she said. "I'm a luxury lover on the inside, not on the outside."
Bethenny also revealed that she's a firm believer in living life with balance and moderation. "I believe in highs and lows, like clothing. I don't need to flex. I don't need it to be a label." And when it comes to her travel preferences, Bethenny opted for a JetBlue flight because, as she put it, "it's just wasteful!" to take a private plane for two people.
"I don't believe that just because you can, you should," she stressed. "That's my philosophy." But we have to wonder - does this mean Bethenny will be flying commercial more often in the future? Only time (and her next social media post) will tell!
