Ben Affleck Shaves Off His Beard After Missing Hot Actors List!
Scandalous! Ben Affleck's Shocking Transformation Left Him Off AARP's Hottest Actors Over 50 List
The drama is heating up in Hollywood, and it's not just about who got left off a prestigious list. Ben Affleck, the 53-year-old ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez, has been spotted sporting a sleek new look after failing to make it onto AARP's Hottest Actors Over 50 list on Thursday.
Sources close to the actor reveal that he's been working on his image for weeks, ditching his signature scruffy beard and rocking a fresh new haircut. But was it enough to impress the good people at AARP?
Ben, who has been producing several new films, including a reboot of Kiss Of The Spider Woman starring his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, seems to be taking his exclusion from the list in stride. After all, he's got a whole lot of other projects cooking.
But what really has tongues wagging is the news that Ben's best buddy and Good Will Hunting costar Matt Damon made the cut, leaving many wondering if there was some sort of inside joke at play.
AARP's Movies for Grownups list celebrates actors in their 50s, 60s, and 70s who exude a certain "star quality" that transcends generations. And boy, do these guys have it!
From Idris Elba taking the top spot to George Clooney and Denzel Washington making appearances, this year's list is packed with A-listers who are still going strong.
But what makes them tick? We caught up with some of the honorees to get the inside scoop on their secrets to success. Noah Wyle, 54, shared a fascinating fact about his love for collecting weird and wonderful items off-camera.
"I'm a pack rat," he confessed. "I've got walking canes, bits of Noah's Ark... I collect anything biblical-related."
Meanwhile, George Clooney, 64, dished on the importance of taking risks in life. "You gotta bet on yourself," he said with a wink. "And don't worry if you wake up one day and you're old – just live as if you're not going to get there!"
We also chatted with Colman Domingo, 55, who spoke out about the current state of the world. "It's like the whole thing is on fire," he said. "But we need hope. We need to use our intelligence, heart, and minds to create the world we want."
Morris Chestnut, 56, shared his fitness secrets: "I've been working out for decades. I don't know what's hot, but I'm just glad to be on any list!"
And then there's Rob Lowe, 61, who wistfully reminisced about the fleeting nature of fame. "I've run into young people who don't know who Paul Newman is," he said with a chuckle. "It makes you realize how fast it all goes."
But what really caught our attention was Billy Porter's candid talk about his experiences as a Black, queer artist in Hollywood. "There wasn't really a space for that when I came up," he reflected. "But now, my art is my activism. I'm creating a space for people to be themselves."
As for Ben Affleck, well... let's just say we're rooting for him to make the cut next year.
