In her 2023 memoir, "My Name Is Barbra," Streisand hinted at a brief fling with Hollywood's ultimate ladies' man, Warren Beatty. Now, in an explosive new interview, the 83-year-old superstar is dishing about their alleged hook-up (or lack thereof). When asked if she and Beatty ever got intimate, Streisand coyly replied, "I know I slept in the bed with him, but I can't remember if we actually had penetration. I swear to God, I can't. There are certain things I block out."
But wait, there's more! The interviewer pressed on, asking if Beatty might recall their alleged tryst. Streisand chuckled, sharing that they remain close friends and even celebrate her birthday together every year. "He calls me and we have a wonderful talk about our lives, our children, and so forth," she gushed.
Streisand first met Beatty in the early 1960s while working on the production of "A Hatful Of Rain" in Connecticut. She recalled their initial meeting at the Clinton Playhouse, where Beatty asked her to cue him on his lines. Fast-forward to their alleged fling: Streisand admitted that while she couldn't recall specifics, she did remember that Beatty made a move on her. But, in true diva fashion, she rejected his advances. "We used to eat together occasionally and talk about life," she said. "He was twenty-one, tall with movie-star looks, and women were already falling at his feet. I was sixteen."
Meanwhile, Kathy Griffin, another Hollywood insider, shared a hilarious anecdote about overhearing Streisand and Beatty reminiscing about their past at a party. According to Griffin, Beatty claimed they had hooked up in the back of a car, while Streisand vehemently denied it.
