Baldoni's $400M Countersuit Dismissed: A Crushing Blow Amid Legal Drama

As Justin Baldoni 's $400million countersuit against Blake Lively has been dismissed , a source has exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com how he really feels about the shocking news

SHOCKING BLOW TO JUSTIN BALDONI: JUDGE DISMISSES $400 MILLION COUNTERSUIT AGAINST BLAKE LIVELY

In a stunning turn of events, Justin Baldoni's high-stakes countersuit against Blake Lively has been thrown out by a judge, leaving the actor reeling. The shocking news has left fans and insiders alike wondering what's next in this ongoing drama.

As we previously reported, Lively sued Baldoni for allegedly sexually harassing her on set last December. But it was just the beginning of the messy battle between these two Hollywood heavy-hitters. Baldoni fired back with a $400 million defamation suit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane. And then, he took it up a notch by suing The New York Times for $250 million over its explosive exposé about Lively's allegations.

In December 2024, Lively, 37, sued Baldoni for allegedly sexually harassing her on set

But in a crushing blow to Baldoni, Judge Lewis J Liman dismissed the entire suit, citing that all of Lively's allegations were made within privileged court papers. And while this is a major setback for Baldoni and his team, insiders are revealing just how badly he's taking it.

"It's like a punch to the gut," an insider tells TheScholarlyNote.com exclusively. "Justin feels like he's been kicked in the teeth. He thought he had a solid case, but now it looks like it was all for nothing."

But despite this crushing blow, Baldoni is refusing to back down. His team is reportedly looking into amending their contract-related claims by June 23, and insiders say they're not giving up yet.

On Monday, Lively shared a statement reacting to the judge's decision on social media

"This isn't over," the insider continues. "Justin's team thinks there might still be a way to salvage this case, even if it means going back to the drawing board."

Meanwhile, Lively is celebrating her victory on social media, sharing a heartfelt message about the importance of standing up for women's rights.

"Last week, I stood proudly alongside 19 organizations united in defending women's rights to speak up for their safety," she wrote. "Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us."

The legal battle between the Gossip Girl actress and Baldoni officially erupted last year after months of rumors that the pair didn't get along on set

She went on to share a list of organizations that offer support and resources for survivors of harassment and abuse.

"Today's opinion is a total victory and a complete vindication for Blake Lively, along with those that Justin Baldoni and the Wayfarer Parties dragged into their retaliatory lawsuit," said a statement from Lively's lawyers. "We look forward to seeking attorneys' fees, treble damages, and punitive damages against Baldoni, Sarowitz, Nathan, and the other Wayfarer Parties who perpetrated this abusive litigation."

As for how Lively felt about the dismissal, an insider spills: "Blake cried with relief when she found out about the ruling. It's a huge weight off her shoulders. She's been through hell, but she's standing tall and refusing to back down."

It appears that Lively is feeling victorious, as the Simple Favor actress issued an emotional response; pictured in February in NYC

The drama between these two stars has been brewing for months, with rumors of tension on set and allegations of bullying flying back and forth.

"It was like a war zone," says an insider who worked on the set of It Ends With Us. "Both sides were dug in, determined to win at all costs. It's no wonder things got so out of hand."

And while it may seem like this is finally over, sources close to the case say otherwise.

"This fight isn't done yet," says a source familiar with the situation. "Justin and his team are far from giving up. They'll be back, and they won't go quietly into the night."
