Arnold Schwarzenegger's Proud Bragging: Patrick's 'Weenie' Moment in The White Lotus
SCANDALOUS SONS: Arnold Schwarzenegger's Unbridled Pride in Son Patrick's Steamy HBO Role Leaves Celebrities Scandalized
In a jaw-dropping display of unadulterated pride, Arnold Schwarzenegger has repeatedly gloated about his son Patrick's saucy role as wealthy Saxon Ratliff in the third season of HBO's hit series The White Lotus. So much so that he's reduced their recent Variety Actors on Actors interview to a cringe-worthy discussion about... well, let's just say "weenies".
The 31-year-old son of the former California Governor was mortified by his father's unbridled enthusiasm for his genitalia during the chat. Patrick took to Twitter on June 3, pleading with fans to "Who the heck says weenie?" The question seemed lost on Arnold, who proudly proclaimed, "Well I do!" in a Monday night appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
The 77-year-old action star's lack of self-awareness only added fuel to the fire as he posed with Patrick at the premiere of his new series FUBAR, which dropped last Wednesday. When asked about his son's newfound fame, Arnold beamed with pride, gushing, "Patrick just blew it out of the water! It was really amazing what he did on White Lotus, and the amount of attention he's getting now... it's all Patrick, Patrick, Patrick!"
Schwarzenegger went on to reveal that fans – particularly women – are clamoring for his autograph not because they're huge Terminator fans, but because they want him to pass along their contact information to his son. "Now everything changed," the Austrian-born actor sighed. "Everything is about Patrick, Patrick, Patrick."
But Schwarzenegger's enthusiasm wasn't limited to just one child. He was joined at the FUBAR premiere by three of his other children: 27-year-old Christopher; elusive daughter Christina, 33; and influencer daughter Katherine, 35 – all products of his marriage to ex-wife Maria Shriver.
However, the elephant in the room remained Arnold's secret love child with former housekeeper Mildred 'Patty' Baena. The revelation sparked a media frenzy when Schwarzenegger welcomed 27-year-old Joseph Baena into the world back in 1997. The scandal led to the end of his 25-year marriage and was finalized in 2021.
Despite the drama, Patrick has proven himself to be every bit as much of a mama's boy as his father. He co-founded MOSH: The Brain Brand, a granola bar company that helps fund Alzheimer's research with his mother. Last week, he landed his next gig alongside fellow nepo baby Margaret Qualley in Rachel Morrison's romantic drama Love of Your Life for Amazon MGM Studios – set to begin filming this August in Europe.
Patrick couldn't contain his excitement about the project, gushing on Instagram, "I love love love this script! Y'all will love this! Such a beautiful story. So thankful for the opportunity to work opposite Margaret... and with these incredible producers Ryan Gosling and Jessie Henderson and Amazon MGM. Lastly to Rachel Morrison. Can't wait to collaborate with you. Thank you for this opportunity. If you haven't seen her other work – you should!"
Meanwhile, Arnold is keeping busy himself, reprising his role as CIA operative Luke Brunner in the second season of Nick Santora's FUBAR series. He'll next be seen playing Santa Claus in Adam Shankman's Christmas action comedy The Man with the Bag for Amazon MGM Studios – set to hit limited US theaters on October 3 alongside Alan Ritchson, Jane Krakowski, Ken Jeong, and Awkwafina.
