POP PRINCESS ARIANA GRANDE CAST IN HISTORIC DR. SEUSS ADAPTATION - BUT FANS WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR NEW ALBUM!

In a move that's got everyone buzzing, pop sensation Ariana Grande has been tapped to star in the upcoming animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss classic Oh, The Places You'll Go! But don't get too excited just yet, folks - it means we're looking at a looong wait for new music from this chart-topping diva!

According to sources close to the project, Grande will be voicing a character in the film, which is being produced by none other than Wicked director Jon M. Chu (yeah, that guy!). And get this - she'll be sharing the spotlight with none other than Frozen's Olaf himself, Josh Gad! Talk about a dream team!

But there's some consolation, the upcoming film will be a musical, so audiences will still get to hear her sing when it lands in cinemas in March 2028 (pictured in March)

But before we dive into the world of Dr. Seuss, let's take a trip down memory lane to Ariana Grande's recent blockbuster hit Wicked: Part One - For Good. Released just last November, this epic fantasy film has been making waves left and right, with critics praising it as "a cinematic spectacle" that "pops and enchants on the big screen".

And let me tell you, folks - Ariana Grande absolutely killed it alongside co-star Cynthia Erivo! Those two witches, Glinda and Elphaba, brought the house down with their jaw-dropping vocals and undeniable chemistry. It's no wonder film & TV journalist Scott Menzel called Wicked: Part One "the very best big-screen adaptations of a Broadway musical ever"!

But don't just take our word for it - Variety's Jazz Tangcay raved about the film, saying it was "much more than we could have ever expected" and praising director Chu, Erivo, and Grande for delivering "a musical masterpiece". And Katcy Stephen from Variety chimed in, admitting she was initially skeptical but ultimately thrilled to report that Wicked is indeed "a masterpiece".

The project is being produced by Jon M. Chu, the director behind Wicked, so it's no surprise Ariana was tapped for the role (L-R Jon, Cynthia Erivo, and Ariana in January)

In fact, Erin Stecker of IndieWire went so far as to call Wicked the "best musical-to-movie adaptation" since Chicago (2002) and Mamma Mia (2008)! It's a film that explores the unlikely friendship between two clashing witches, Elphaba and Glinda, in the magical land of Oz. And let me tell you - it's a wild ride!

But we're not here to talk about Wicked (although trust us, you should totally go see it). We're here to dish on Ariana Grande's latest project! And rumor has it that we won't have to wait too long to see her back on the big screen - she's set to return in November 2025 for the second installment of Wicked: Part Two!

So, what do you think, folks? Are you as excited as we are about Ariana Grande's new project? And let's be real - who can't get enough of that iconic voice?! Let us know in the comments below!
