THE CLOONEY CURSE: AMAL'S DESPERATE BID TO PROTECT HER KIDS FROM PAPARAZZI AND TRUMP'S VENGEANCE

In a shocking revelation, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney has confessed that she's gone to extreme lengths to shield her two adorable eight-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. The glamorous 47-year-old and her husband George, 64, have been living in fear of their children being splashed on the front pages of tabloids.

In an exclusive interview with Glamour magazine, Amal revealed that she's banned phones from her home to prevent any "intrusions" into her family's private life. The stunning mother-of-two admitted that it's become increasingly difficult to maintain her family's anonymity in a world where everything is so public. To combat this, the Clooneys have taken drastic measures.

"I've got a phone basket," Amal confessed, "that I use to take everyone's phones away! It's essential to get that balance right between private moments with your loved ones and public appearances." The usually composed lawyer admitted that becoming a mother has made her more sensitive to the intrusions into their family life. "We don't put our children out there," she emphasized, "we've never put their photo out there or anything like that."

But Amal's concerns about protecting her kids' privacy are not just about the paparazzi. The lawyer is also under threat from a very powerful foe: President Donald Trump. As one of the top UK lawyers involved in a war crimes case against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Amal could be banned from returning to the US under sanctions imposed by the former president.

According to reports, Amal and other high-profile lawyers, including Baroness Helena Kennedy and Lord Justice Adrian Fulford, received warnings from the Foreign Office that their involvement in the case might lead to them being denied entry into the States. The Financial Times reported that the sanctions were part of an Executive Order issued by Trump against the International Criminal Court (ICC), which he claimed was biased against Christians.

With her representing several high-profile clients and leading landmark campaigns and being married to one of Hollywood's biggest stars, Amal has emphasised how important privacy is to her (seen in 2023)

Amal's husband George has been vocal about his struggle to maintain their family's privacy, revealing in a recent interview with GQ magazine that even he and Brad Pitt find it impossible to step out in public without being followed by paparazzi. The actor described the experience as "hammering" and revealed that only a select few, including himself and Amal, have reached such a high level of fame that they can't escape the media scrutiny.

"We deal with very serious subject matters," George explained, "and we don't want to have photos of our kids out there. So we have to work hard at trying to stay private, and it's tricky." The star-studded couple has had to rely on their homes in the UK and Italy for refuge from the paparazzi.

But Amal's troubles with Trump may be far from over. With reports suggesting that more sanctions are on the way, the lawyer could face a ban from returning to the US. As one of the top lawyers involved in the war crimes case against Netanyahu, Amal is seen as a key target for Trump's wrath.

George has frequently discussed his struggle to maintain his and his family's privacy, elaborating most recently in an interview with GQ alongside Brad Pitt, in August (seen with Amal in September)

As the world watches with bated breath, will Amal and George be able to keep their children safe from prying eyes? Or will Trump's vendetta against them mean that the Clooneys' private life becomes even more exposed than ever before? Only time will tell in this saga of celebrity politics and paparazzi drama.

It comes after it was revealed in April that Amal could be banned from returning to the US alongside other top UK lawyers under sanctions imposed by Donald Trump (seen in April)

It was reported that the attorney was 'cautioned' by the Foreign Office that legal advice she provided in a war crimes case against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (pictured October) could mean she may be denied entry
