Amal Clooney and More: Meet Britain's Most Influential Women in The Vogue 25

Amal Clooney has been honoured by The Vogue 25 as she's named one of Britain's most influential women

SCANDAL, GLAMOUR AND SOCIAL JUSTICE: THE SCHOLARLY NOTE'S EXCLUSIVE TAKE ON VOGUE 25

In a world where controversy and intrigue are just around the corner, The Scholarly Note brings you the latest scoop on this year's Vogue 25 list. And at the top of the pack is none other than human rights activist extraordinaire Amal Clooney! This 47-year-old powerhouse has been making waves in the world of law and activism, and now she's being recognized as one of Britain's most influential women.

But what makes Amal so special? According to sources close to her, it's her unwavering dedication to fighting for justice. And when we say justice, we mean the kind that gets people talking – like taking on cases involving victims of sexual violence in combat zones! Talk about a high-stakes career. But don't just take our word for it; Amal herself opened up to Vogue about one of her biggest challenges: apathy.

The lawyer and human rights activist, 47, joins the likes of Kiera Knightley  [pictured] and Munroe Bergdorf in being recognised as females who have helped shape culture and society

"Apathy is the real enemy," she revealed. "If good people stay quiet, it becomes very difficult to effect change. And if there's more cowardice than courage in the corridors of power, it's a tough road ahead." Ouch! Sounds like someone's been taking notes from the greats (hello, Martin Luther King Jr.).

Now, we know what you're thinking: who else made the cut? Well, let us tell you – this year's list is chock-full of A-listers, activists, and trailblazers. Keira Knightley, 40, joins Amal on the prestigious list thanks to her impressive acting career that spans over 30 years (we're talking Bend It Like Beckham vibes). And when asked about entering a new era, Keira replied: "It's quite nice to have lived your life and had experiences...and be like, 'Well, I've been through that and I've come out the other side. And here we are, and it's all a bit chaotic, but you can go on'."

Meanwhile, model and trans rights activist Munroe Bergdorf, 37, is breaking barriers left and right – literally. As she shared with us, "The transition itself felt like hope. Like living the life that I want to live one day." We couldn't agree more, Munroe! You're an inspiration to so many.

But there's more! England footballer Lucy Bronze, 33, spoke out about the sport thriving for women (yaaas!). As she put it: "I didn't think it could be a career path for me at first...but now I'm living proof that anything is possible."

And because we love a royal connection or two, Kate Middleton joins the list alongside her aunt-in-law Princess Anne. Not to mention Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves making an appearance – talk about a force to be reckoned with!
