Kay also confessed to keeping her diet on track by indulging in only one vice: wine. Specifically, Kendall Jackson, which she enjoys with a glass at 5 o'clock and another before bed. "I'm a happy, happy person," Kay beamed. "That's what I want people to take away after they're around me - that I don't talk negative, I just simply do not."

In 2020, Matthew revealed on The Howard Stern Show that he didn't speak to his mother for eight years due to her leaking their private conversations to the media. The Oscar-winning actor recalled how he'd have intimate chats with his mom, only to see them splashed across the headlines days later.
"I'd have conversations and then all of a sudden - whoop - what we'd talk about would end up in the paper three days later," Matthew recounted. "I had to set some boundaries." The actor explained that he eventually reached his breaking point when his mom gave a televised tour of his childhood home, including the bedroom where he lost his virginity.
Matthew's pal called him to let him know about the interview, and he was shocked when Kay pretended not to know what he was talking about. However, after a heart-to-heart conversation, Kay confessed: "Oh, that? I didn't think you'd find out." Matthew acknowledged that seeing his mom for who she really is had been tough but ultimately admitted that their relationship is now on the mend.
"Not for who she really is, because she was always still my mom," Matthew explained. "But she became a different person... Nobody is perfect. This was something that was out of the realm of any relationship my mother has ever had." Despite the rough patch, the actor confirmed that things between them are no longer "strenuous" and they're on good terms.
