Dennis Quaid's Paradise Found: Actor Gushes Over 39-Year-Younger Wife Laura Savoie, Defying Divorce Odds

Seventy-one-year-old Hollywood hunk Dennis Quaid has found his happily ever after with his stunning fourth wife, Laura Savoie - a whopping 39 years his junior. The Emmy-nominated actor is beaming with joy, declaring that "every day is paradise" being with the blonde beauty he married just one year ago.

The unlikely couple met at a business event in 2019 and exchanged vows shortly after. Quaid's friends and family are thrilled to see the Texan-born star so smitten, especially given his history of high-profile divorces. But it seems like this union is the real deal - Savoie has already earned a spot as founding partner of Quaid's production company, Bonniedale Films, in 2021.

At 71, the Emmy-nominated actor is 39 years older than the St. Louis-born blonde, whom he first met at a 2019 business event and wed just one year later (pictured in 2024)

In an exclusive interview with TheScholarlyNote.com, Quaid gushed about his relationship with Savoie, saying: "It's the closest relationship I've ever had with anybody. Every day is paradise. What can I tell you? I don't know why God had waited so long to bring her into my life, or I walked into hers."

Savoie, a St. Louis native, boasts two Master's degrees from Texas McCombs School of Business and the University of Notre Dame - quite the impressive résumé! When asked about their significant age gap, Quaid chuckled, "I didn't go out looking for an age gap or someone really younger than me. I met her at a business event and then the relationship developed."

This marks the third time Quaid has married a woman significantly younger than him - his previous wives were all in their 30s when they tied the knot with the actor. But it seems like Savoie is the one who's finally won his heart.

Laura also technically works for Dennis as he appointed her as founding partner of his production company, Bonniedale Films, in 2021 (pictured in 2024)

As Quaid approaches the milestone birthday of 72, he's also celebrating another significant event: the 18th birthdays of his fraternal twins Zoe and Thomas next month, which will mark the end of his $13,750/month child support payments to ex-wife Kimberly Buffington. The two-time Independent Spirit Award winner and the 53-year-old real estate broker ended their 11-year marriage in 2018.

Quaid's history is filled with high-profile romances - including a nine-year marriage to Meg Ryan, which ended in 2000 amid cheating rumors on both sides. He confessed to being jealous of Ryan's Hollywood success during their relationship, saying: "When I met Meg, I was here as far as career thing and she was here and then [eclipsed my own career]."

Quaid has also been open about his struggles with addiction and personal growth. As he navigates this new chapter in his life, fans are rooting for him to find happiness with Savoie.

Texan-born Quaid told Fox News Digital on Monday: 'Every day is paradise with her. It really is. It's the closest relationship I've ever had with anybody. Every day is paradise'

On the work front, Quaid will soon be seen in Paramount+'s canceled crime drama Happy Face, as well as Universal Studios' DVD release of Sovereign, where he plays Chief John Bouchart. Other upcoming projects include Lionsgate's I Can Only Imagine 2, Netflix sci-fi flick War Machine, Babak Najafi's action thriller The Florist, and Nathan Smith's animated fantasy Saurus City.

With his love life and career thriving, Dennis Quaid is undoubtedly living his best life - and it seems like Laura Savoie is the one who's brought him the most joy.

The Holy Marvels producer-host continued: 'I don't know why God had waited so long to bring her, for her to come along, but [I'm] really glad he brought her into my life, or I walked into hers'

Last year, the two-time Independent Spirit Award winner admitted he was jealous of the level of fame his second ex-wife Meg Ryan achieved during their nine-year marriage, which ended in 2000 amid cheating rumors on both sides (pictured in 1995)

Dennis recalled on Who's Talking to Chris Wallace on September 6: 'When I met Meg, I was here as far as career thing and she was here and then [eclipsed my own career]. I tried to be a big person and tell myself that didn't bother me, but people are human. She was ascending as I went into rehab'

Quaid continued: 'Meg is really such a great, sweet person and really talented and deserved all her success. I don't regret anything about my marriage to Meg. We got [our 33-year-old son] Jack Quaid out of it who is really going on to maybe eclipse both of us' (pictured in 2021)

Last week, Paramount+ canceled Jennifer Cacicio's crime drama Happy Face after only one eight-episode season, so Dennis will not be reprising his role as serial killer Keith Hunter Jesperson

Quaid received rave reviews for his role as Chief John Bouchart in Christian Swegal's father-son crime thriller Sovereign, which Universal Studios will release on DVD August 26
