50 Cent Smiles His Way Out of Sydney: Street Fighter Reboot in Sight!

US hip-hop legend 50 Cent was all smiles on Saturday as he jetted out of Sydney

50 Cent Spotted in Sydney, But His Tastefulness is Another Story

In a rare moment of good taste, 50 Cent was all smiles as he jetted out of Sydney on Saturday, but don't let that fool you – the hip-hop legend's latest antics have left fans and critics alike scratching their heads.

Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent, has been in Australia filming scenes for the highly anticipated Street Fighter reboot, where he'll be playing the iconic character Balrog. But before he took off, he was spotted looking like a total boss in his casual airport getup – think light-grey sleeveless puffer jacket, crisp white hoodie with graffiti-style print, and a pair of white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers.

The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, has been Down Under shooting scenes for the anticipated Street Fighter reboot

But what really caught our attention was his interaction with a fan who was rocking an Eminem singlet. It seems the two hip-hop legends had a brief but meaningful chat before 50 Cent continued on his way to catch his flight. The fact that he took the time to engage with a fan is admirable, but some might say it's just a ploy to get some good PR.

After all, 50 Cent has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons – specifically, for making fun of music producer Irv Gotti's death on Instagram. Yes, you read that right: the rapper posted a photo of himself smoking hookah next to a tombstone with Gotti's name on it, writing "I'm smoking on dat Gotti pack" and "nah God bless him LOL." Talk about in poor taste!

Needless to say, fans were not impressed. One user wrote, "There is a special place in hell for you!! The fact that you came so close to facing death yourself & you still have this mindset is beyond me!" Another said, "Only a devil would mock death... every soul will die." And yet another added, "One thing about Cancers [referring to his star sign], they will sit & wait on the ultimate petty card. Very very very low. BUT Be careful how you treat people history doesn't delete itself"

The In Da Club hitmaker, 50, cut a casual figure for his long-haul flight, stepping out in a light-grey sleeveless puffer jacket

Fellow rapper Bobby Shmurda even chimed in with a simple "Yo, this thing is crazy, son." It's clear that 50 Cent still has some growing up to do.

Despite all the drama, it's worth noting that the Street Fighter reboot looks like it could be something special. With Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Orville Peck, and Eric André joining the cast, it's shaping up to be a wild ride. And let's not forget 50 Cent's impressive filmography – he's had roles in movies like Get Rich or Die Tryin' (2006) and TV shows like Power, where he's also an executive producer.

So while 50 Cent may have been gracious with his fans in Sydney, it's clear that he still has some issues to work out. As one user so eloquently put it: "History doesn't delete itself."
